Huge Congratulations to Woodhull of Maine @woodhullmaine on the Maine AIA Merit Award they received last evening for the magic they designed and built for us!!! What an incredible team who helped us define our vision and make a 30 year dream into an unbelievable reality! Such a fantastic adventure. We have known you’re the best all along. So happy to see you receiving such deserved recognition!!! 🔥🔥🔥 ...
Honored to have my series Note to Self included in Sequence, curated by Christine D’Epiro Abbott, currently on view at the Riffe Gallery in Columbus, OH. What a great group of printmakers and a beautiful exhibition!
New website folks! Check it out at the link in my bio. Thanks so much to @austin.trigg for the amazing photos, @pomeloproductions for the behind-the-scenes support & @woodhullmaine for the dream studio!
A little testing today to refine my value range and detail. Digital space > Inkjet transparency > Photolithography plate > Inked plate > Newsprint proof > Proof on good paper. An exercise in building an image you like, making it look flat and bad, and ending with the image I want. Always analyzing, problem solving, and working towards better!
A perfect day on new friends’ boat bobbing in Card Cove (thanks @asgatewood & @farmfreshmeth ) + moiré-like water morphing around us + an image that feels like me past and present + landing on the best printer settings after riding the struggle bus for a few days + great transparencies + an afternoon at @rwsartstudios + really nice plates (thank you print gods/goddesses) + a drive home on a sunny evening = happiness. A really good day! ☺️
